Inaugural Gathering of Revitalised DST Alumni

DST alumni are cordially invited to attend inaugural meetings of the re-vitalised DST Alumni organisation.

Concurrent meetings will be held at the DST Edinburgh site 1000-1300 h (CST) and at DST Melbourne 1030-1330 (AEST).

Chief Defence Scientist, Dr Alex Zelinsky, will open with a 20 minute keynote presentation, via video link, on the current roles and future directions of DST, followed by questions and discussion.

Selected Chiefs of Division and other current DST staff will be available for discussion on DST issues and how they see engagement with the Alumni being progressed. There will also be some short briefings on current projects.

The event will include a light lunch and there will be an opportunity to meet and mingle with some current staff and former colleagues. An Alumni attendance list will be circulated on site prior to the event allowing interested staff to touch base with Alumni members on the day.

This is a trial event to gauge the level of interest from Alumni members in such activities so your support and attendance is strongly encouraged. An email invitation has been sent to those we are aware of in SA and Victoria although others are welcomeplease bring this event to the attention of any colleagues who may wish to attend. Suggestions for future Alumni activities are welcomed.
