Presentation by Dr Paul Miller—Knowing Me Not Knowing You: An Obfuscation-Resilient Discriminative Adversarial Network

Alumni are invited to attend an unclassified presentation by Dr Paul Miller, Research Director of Security Intelligence at the Centre for Secure Information Technologies at Queen's University, Belfast, UK.

Dr Miller will present a novel Android malware detection system using deep learning that successfully classifies both obfuscated and unobfuscated apps as either benign or malicious.

The event will be in the Edinburgh Hub Presentation Facility, 206L, from 1030-1130 h ACSDT.
