Dr Terry Moon passed away today, 20 June 2018, after a battle with cancer. The family is planning a private ceremony in Tasmania.
Terry had a long and varied career at DST working in a number of fields and his final post was leading the DST Scottsdale nutrition group before retiring in Tasmania. In addition to his professional interests, Terry was a keen 'Citizen Astronomer' and respected member of the Australian amateur astronomy community

Very sad to hear of Terry's passing. He was one of my favourite people in Dst, and will be sadly missed.
Terry was one of those people who was great to know. It is very sad that he has died much too young.
