Part of Defence's support for the DST Alumni is the provision of a dedicated web site—this site, launched at the DST Senior Leadership Team meeting by the Chief Defence Scientist, Dr Alex Zelinsky, on 12 December 2017.

The site will become the focus for communication between DST and alumni members, and between members. It is key to making these connections.

The site has provision for former staff to register as an alumnus, and this registration function will form the membership database once the alumni association is formalised.
