Alumni were represented at the 2018 Strategic Context Seminar held recently at Fairbairn ACT.  Jim Smith (right) accepted CDS's invitation to be part of the appreciative audience, while Simon Oldfield (centre) attended in his capacity as a mentor for the DST Graduate Program in Scientific Leadership.

The seminar originated as part of the GPSL syllabus but over the last five years has been opened up to a much wider audience, including other Publicly Funded Research Agencies, academia, industry and, this year, alumni. Over the two days, senior leaders of extraordinary calibre in their field kept the audience engaged with their thoughts on leadership in an era of innovation.
