DST's flagship invention, the Black Box flight recorder has been celebrated in a new musical stage production by The Street theatre company in Canberra.

The production, entitled FLIGHT MEMORY, will open on November 14 and it is hoped that a number of DST personnel, including Ken Fraser who worked with David Warren, will attend the opening performance.

Commissioned by The Street Theatre, Flight Memory pairs ARIA-nominated composer Sandra France (From a Black Sky) with Helpmann-Award winning playwright and librettist Alana Valentine (Barbara and the Camp Dogs, Cold Light, MP), to tell the story of David Warren and the invention that transformed technological and aeronautical history.
