This year, DST celebrates the 80th anniversary of our Fishermans Bend site, celebrations are scheduled for the last week of November to coincide with the DST Achievement Awards which, this year, will be held in Melbourne.

Asian Physics Olympiad 2019—Volunteering Opportunity (Adelaide)

From 5 to 13 May, 200 of Asia’s best and brightest physics high school students (including an Aussie eight-member team) will be in Adelaide for the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO).

Defence has announced the appointment of Professor Tanya Monro as the new Chief Defence Scientist, effective March 2019. Professor Monro is a highly decorated scientist who joins DST from the University of South Australia.
